Hello everyone! We are all doing fine….now. I (Liz) was sick on Friday, starting at around 2:oo a.m. The only thing that I can trace it to is getting some water in my mouth while in the shower. I let my guard down this one time since coming here and ………..bammo, hit like a ton of bricks. I was in bed all day Friday. Needless to say, it was a very long day.
We had the girls class Thursday night. We’ve had a hard time scheduling it because the girls are studying very hard for their important final exams. They have three more weeks of study and it is stressful for them. We will be meeting on Thursday nights. There were 10 girls including the 2 GBC students and Pramita to translate, of course! The scripture I used to begin our study is I Timothy 2:22 “Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” We studied about some specific things to run from. Next week we will study the things to run after. I asked for ideas of what they might want to study in the following weeks. Smiley (Sunita), said she’d like to know what someone her age can do for the church and the kingdom of God. Wow! Romans 12:1-2 is bound to be in that lesson!
We had a great day in church again. Nirmila, the newest convert of whom we have written about, gave us an invitation to her daughters’ wedding, this coming Friday at 2:00. The invitation is totally in Nepali, so we had to call on Pramita to find out the time and place. More details later.

In my humble, but accurate, opinion, tell Smiley she can do anything a guy can do except pastor. SHE can definitely lead worship, and she’d do a great job with some experience under her belt.
