Kathmandu Post

By the way, that is the title of the newspaper here. We’ve started to get the daily. We’ve found out that there is a lot going on in  the world. I suspect we’ve been a tiny bit isolated. Most of our world here consists of what is within walking distance. This is an amazing experience. In many ways it is like stepping back in time, only with a computer. You learn so much about a place and a people when you live here for a while. This has been a week of great victory. God has blessed this ministry with financial gifts that have gotten this ministry in the black again! Back salaries have been caught up for the faithful workers here. Can you imagine going without a salary for 5 months? I can’t.Now there is next month coming! Concerning the children, the monthly needs still fall short. There is always something unexpected, just like in your homes. God bless all of you generous people for your help. Please pray without ceasing for this ministry. Also, please pray for me (Liz) as I begin a class with the teen girls on being godly young women. I am excited about this ministry opportunity!

I hope this finds you all doing well. Love and prayers to all!

Liz

This is amazing. I am so happy. God bless you guys. He has and He will. These young ladies will look back on this as a very important thing in their lives. And hey, don’t forget to take lots of videos of the Class 10 Graduation.

Oh! I am sooo excited that you are starting a girl’s ministry! I had mentioned to Cary how I thought that was lacking and so needed. You are just the woman to pour into these young ladies lives. Titus 2 in action…gotta love it!

    Liz,
The class sounds awesome. You have such a sweet, gentle spirit and are a great example of a Godly woman. I know you will be a blessing to those girls. Sounds like the Father is using you to speak into their lives as your ‘daughters in spirit’. We found out we are having another boy, so I too am going to be a mom to My Three Sons. We can start a club. 🙂
    Love,
    Mandy

      Hey, Super Mom Mandy!
Congratulations on your son-to-be-born (when?)! Have you picked out a name? It is God’s will (W!) that you and I bear these boys for His purposes. I pray that you will be blessed with the sense of purpose that comes through faith in our sovereign God—- disappointment changes to adventure! Thanks for the encouragement on the class. Keep me in prayer as it takes a lot of study, and it’s hard to discipline myself sometimes! Hope you are feeling well at this time!

      Love,
      Liz
